Ron & Doreene update

Hi All here is the latest letter from Mom and Dad.

THIS INFORMATION WAS TAKEN FROM
TESTIOMONIES OF LATTER-DAY PROPHETS

JOSEPH SMITH WAS FOR ORDAINED TO HIS
PROPHETIC CALLING.

To get a vision of the magnitude of the prophet's mission. He was among the noble ones whom Abraham described as follows. "Now the Lord had shown unto me, Abraham the intelligences that were organized before the world was: and many great ones were there."

The prophet Joseph Smith was not only ONE OF THE NOBLE AND GREAT ONES, BUT HE GAVE AND CONTINUES TO GIVE ATTENTION
To important matters today from the realms above. For in the eyes of the Lord.... It is one great eternal program which the Prophet Joseph plays a important role---all through the eternal priesthood and authority of God.


I would like to add a scripture Alma 34: 16 & 17.

We are doing fine and will be released on the 2nd of November 2009.

We look forward to this with mixed emotions. 1. We don't look forward to the winter they have here. 2. We were called for a 6 month mission.
3. I guess we are looking forward to being home, even though we are enjoying our mission very much. 4. We think our neighbors who have been tending the home are ready to give us back the responsibility again.
5. I wonder of the 40 missionary couples that we are chosen to be released
A little more than 50% are going home and I guess we were not one of the needed ones (sob , sob).
