Well, this week was the best week that i´ve had in this area with my comp. We worked a lot harder and we were a lot more obedient and things went a lot better. On monday, a few little things happened and me and my comp got in a fight. It wasn´t a huge fight, but it was a fight. But, we learned a lot. I humbled myself a lot and he also humbled himself a lot and it really changed our relationship. I realized that i was only looking for his faults and problems and that i never tried to find anything good in my comp. He realized that really the only thing i want from him is that he can be 100% obedient. So, we both changed a lot that day. I started looking for good things in him and he started being a lot more obedient. I wasn´t perfect and neither was he, but we got a lot better. In almost every prayer that we said together, we thanked Heavenly Father for the good things in our companions and asked for help to become better personally. (i don´t know if that made sense, but i hope so). And there was a huge difference in our realationship. For the first time in 3.5 weeks, i felt real love for my comp. I consider him one of my friends now, instead of a pain in the neck. We´re doing a lot bettter, and we´ve felt the Spirit a lot more and i´m a lot happier than last week.
As for our invest. we don´t have anyone that´s really progressing a lot. We have 4 or 5 families with a TON  of potencial, but our problem was that we never taught them last week. We went to their houses almost everyday, but they were never home. So, we´ll see how things turn out with them. WE found a really cool young couple that just moved here 3 weeks ago and they´re really awesome, but their uncle or brother or someone died so we couldn´t teach them during the week. We found them tuesday or wednesday but they had to go to the funeral and other things because he died, so, we couldn´t teach them and they couldn´t come to  church. Yesterday night, we went by the house of a family we´re teaching that the husband is kind of a problem. We went by yesterday and the wife came out and she told us that her husband ditched her and went off with another girl. So, he´s gone. She was super upset and sad. I felt really bad for her, but i think it might be a good thing. Maybe now that the husband is gone, she can listen to us and progress in the gospel and get baptized because her husband isn´t around to stop her. So, we´ll see what happens. Hopefully everything turns out well.
Well, i know this letter is short but i spent all the time figuring out the mother´s day call. Love you all. Have a great week. See you soon.
Love Elder Jordan Schouten
