Primero, Austin.... Felicidades por su llamamiento!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Va a ser increíble. Te va a encantar Perú.
Well, hope you can figure that out Austin,
As for my week, It was great. We had our baptism!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Victoría got baptized on saturday and confirmed on sunday. it was amazing. She´s only 9 yrs. old but she´s the smartest and most spiritual 9 yr. old that i´ve ever met. The baptism was awesome. I felt the spirit really strong. The best part was that her dad is less active and basically doesn´t like the church much, but he came to the baptism and i could tell he felt the Spirit. So, that was amazing. We´re gonna work with him as much as we can to help him get active again so he and his family can go to the temple and get sealed.... Funny story.. on sunday, there was an announcement that the YW is going to the temple this week. Then, sunday night, we taught Victoria and her mom again and they told us that they wanted to go to the temple with the YM on saturday. So, we told them that victoria can´t yet, because she´s only 9. Victoria got pretty upset/sad. I don´t know. It was funny but really cool at the same time. But she was awesome and said,, "well, i have 3 years to get ready to go to the temple then." She´s awesome. it was a great baptism.
Last night we had a great lesson. We went to the 1st counseler in the Bishopric´s house becuase his sister-in-law moved in with him and his wife. We went there and there was 5 people there, 3 active members of the church and then 2 of their relatives that aren´t members of the church yet. We watched "the Restoration" movie that´s 20 minutes long and then talked a little about the BoM. The Spirit was really strong, and it wasn´t becuase of us. It was awesome because the 3 members that were there did almost all of the teaching. We just kind of guided the lesson. The 3 members that were there are super super super active and awesome members, that really have testimonies and they´re not ashamed to be members of the church. So, their testimonies were awesome. It was a really cool lesson. They´re going to get baptized.
Other than that, this week was pretty uneventful. We had zone leaders conference this morning and it was really really good. We talked about why we do missionary work and what our real purpose is. it was really good and i recieved a lot of revelation. Also, this wednesday is transfer day. I think i´ll be leaving my area but we´ll see what happens.
Mom- i´m glad you´re excited for the new YM´s presidency. I hope the do well and help all the girls out. Have you recieved a new calling? If so, what? As for BYU summer... i think i´d like to go. I´m sure that a ton of missionaries will be entering the MTC and even if i can´t get a job there, i could find a job in another place. So, basically, if Kyle (or Matt) is going to summer term and you can get me in an apartment with him (or Matt), i´d like to go. If i have to live alone, or with someone i don´t know, i think i´d rather just work at home. Also, if i can´t get in an apartment with matt or kyle, could you look into getting my old job back, mowing lawns at the school district. My release date from the mission is May 22. On may 23 i´ll be on the plane and May 24 i´ll be home. So, i could start working that next wednesday probably. (i say wednesday because there´s a pill that all the returned missionaries have to take that basically clears out their intestines, so, monday and tuesday, i might be in the bathroom a lot.
Dad- Is there really no snow in the mountains? that´s weired.
John- sounds like your life is going pretty well. When do you go back to BYU-I?
Austin- Felicidades otra vez. Va a ser purete en peru. (para que sepa purete es paraguayo para significar awesome or legit)
Tasha- i hope you like the new YW´s presidency. They´ll be good. I don´t know the Robison lady, but i know her husband is really cool, so she should be cool too.
Shaylee- I didn´t understand a word of your letter. Sorry, but i didn´t understand anything.
Thanks for all that you do. I love you all. I konw that this is Christ´s church and this is His work. It´s what He wants me to do. I love doing this work. It´s the greatest thing i´ve ever done. Love you all.
