This week was full of little miracles:
On Monday we met a lady named Barbara who's son had died a year before and we were able to testify of the Plan of Salvation and give her a Book of Mormon.
Tuesday we were knocking doors at an apartment complex and this guy walked past us and went to a door we had already knocked. He looked at us and was like, "Hey what are you guys talking about?" and we said, "We're talking about Jesus Christ. Can we come talk to you?" and he was like, "Oh right on. Ya come talk to me." Then we talked a lot about the Plan of Salvation. It was pretty neat.
On Wednesday we met a different Barbara who at first wasn't really interested, but then she asked us if we believed in blessings of healing and we were like, "Yup." and we ended up talking about the priesthood which led to the restoration and she said, "You guys are going to have to come back and share more with me." Woo!
Thursday's miracle was that I didn't go crazy in a lesson that went on for two hours. And by lesson I mean a guy talked at us for 2 hours and we weren't able to say anything. That may not sound like a miracle, but trust me it was...
Friday we met this girl named Stephanie whose dad has been looking into our church and we were able to talk to her for a bit and she was really cool.
Saturday we found a duck while tracting.
Sunday we met a less-active whose son had just died. It was perfect timing, obviously not that her son had just died, but that we came by at that moment.
Also a year ago yesterday I broke my leg... What? Feels like it just happened. Time flies e'erbody.
Love you all!
Love,
Sister Schouten
